Literature Text

Running fast,
running from my past,
don't look back,
I lost it, I finally cracked.

Trip and fall,
"I'm lost" I whisper,
yell out and try to call,
run for so long my feet blister.

Look behind me,
afraid of what I see,
breathing getting shallow,
chest getting hollow.

Rip my heart out,
stomp on it some more,
give up and fall down,
I couldn't do it anymore.

Let the dark get to me,
all I do is smile,
gave up the fight and now I'm free,
you were sick and vile,
and now I'm happy.
If you've read my other poems, you'll find the second verse in this is from another poem of mine.
Thanks XD

the end lines for most of your poems are just haunting
